Spencer Music is absolutely fantastic, if you are looking for private or small group instruction. Mr. Spencer has taught music for over 25 years, and is a highly accomplished and virtuoso pianist, and is the most loving, patient and inspiring vocal coach I have ever worked with. My daughter also studies with him, and I have seen huge improvements in her confidence and musicality. She recently received the lead role in her High School production of Beauty and the Beast and she has only studied with Mr. Spencer for 6 months. As for me, Mr. Spencer is also an artist developer and since I'm an actress, he has coached me on the business end of securing agents, expanding my portfolio which has done wonders for me securing employment as a singer and actress. Mr. Spencer has flexible hours, has never once missed an appt, and his studio is convenient for those living in Long Beach or Orange County. I like that he encourages parents to take an active role in their children's arts education, and his practice schedule, and curriculum is tailor made for accomplishing goals quickly. Mr. Spencer's school alumni is a who's who of artists on tv, musical theatre and the recording industry. I can't recommend him enough, and I look forward to the time my son is a little older to study violin with Mr. Spencer. A versatile teacher, Mr. Spencer coaches students in piano, keyboards, voice/acting, strings and mandolin. 5 star instructor!
