Operational since 1967, The New York School for Medical & Dental Assistants has been providing health care career training services. Based in Long Island City, N.Y., its Medical Assistant Program provides training in disciplines, including laboratory techniques, supervised clinical internship, electrocardiography and examination room procedures. The school's Dental Assistant Program offers training in areas, such as dental terminology, dental charting, infection control, operatory procedures and dental X-ray. The New York School for Medical & Dental Assistants is licensed by The New York State Education Dept.
