Founded by Jean Franco Vergaray, Salsa In Queens is the new latin movement in Astoria, Queens. At the age of 13, Jean Franco followed his family to the U.S. unaware of what the future held for him. By the age of 18, he took his first salsa class at Mambo Bravo Latin Dance Company and began what would later become his passion and career. Since that first class, Jean Franco has now become a Salsa dancer, choreographer, performer, instructor and the latest addition to the list is studio owner. Jean Franco and the entire Salsa In Queens family invites everyone to come and be a part of history as we create a new Salsa movement in Astoria!
