Just got home from a wonderful few days in room 210. Hope I can get a few more days on my next visit. Its a perfect "on the beach" location. All the guests in nearby units were just eager to tell me about where to dine out, shop and get a taste of the Sarasota area. Just couldn't get ourselves too enthused about moving to far or too fast though. All the units I saw were as good or better than portrayed on their website. It was recommended as a good value, and indeed it was, but I was even more enthused about the great accommodations, and of course, the beach. WmS

What a beautiful place to come and relax.You can enjoy the balcony overlooking the beach and the beautiful sunsets.You have your own Tiki Hut for eating and drinking at your leisure after you take a dip in the refreshing pool. For the fishermen in your group,they can just throw a line along the shore and possibly catch a snook or redfish!

Our family is looking forward to a return visit next year on vacation.

The Diplomat Resort is a great place to stay a few days or weeks. The beach atmosphere is awesome! This resort is clean, well kept, and manicured. Its a GEM!

This unit simply exceeded our expectations, even for a weekend family getaway; it has all the comforts and amenities of home while truly being only steps from the sand and surf. The staff was very pleasant and professional during our visit. You can't beat the location of Unit 220, with lounge chairs right outside your door, Tiki Hut to enjoy a simple snack or meal; and the pool just a few steps down the walkway. This will certainly be worth another visit! Thanks for sharing.
