The Boulder County Road Maintenance, a specialized division of the Boulder County government, maintains approximately 700 miles of the county's roadway system. The division is experienced in winter roadway maintenance practices. Its standard operations include snow and ice removal, dust control, road grading, dead animal removal and other related road maintenance. The Boulder County Road Maintenance is headquartered in Longmont, Colo. The division is part of the Boulder County transportation operations. The transportation operation includes more than 20 programs designed for the planning, engineering, construction and maintenance of the county roadway system.
