Poor customer response

I dropped my car off for service at 7:30 AM for service that I had scheduled the day before. Usually a dealer will call for authorization before proceeding with the repair. By 2:00 PM I hadn't heard anything so I called the dealer. I was told by the service rep that he had "just gotten the paperwork from the tech" and he would call me back after he looked at it. THREE HOURS later, I called him back. He now had the information but he wasn't aware that I had purchased the extended warrantee when I bought the car! The service rep that had checked me in that morning knew it and attached the paperwork to the service order. One thing they wanted to do was charge me $180.00 to apply a software update on the anti-lock brake system. I am sure that if I ever need dealer level repair work again, I will be happy to drive a little further to a different GM dealer.

Terrible Sales Practices

I tried to buy a car from Hajek Chevrolet, and met with problems at every point. I have never had such a terrible experience trying to negotiate a sale. The salesperson changed her story, increased the price, didn't follow through with her promises, wouldn't give me a formal quote in writing, concealed fees from me, and in the end, sold the car out from under me after promising not to do so - and not even notifying me of the sale, leaving me to pay an outside mechanic who showed up ready to inspect a car that was no longer there. I don't know if it can be blamed on her inexperience or the dealer's sales practices, but I would avoid this dealership at all costs.

So-so service dept.

Dropped off a Pontiac for new brake pads... Was told the entire mechanic staff was literally out to lunch, and that I would have to wait an extra 45 minutes until they returned before work could begin. 1.5 hours later, I was told - surpise - that the brake pads needed replacing. 3 hours later I was told that the brake pads hadn't arrived from Broomfield yet... the car wouldn't be done until just before closing.Good lord. This was just a simple fix that took all day... I ended up having one of their guys drive me home.However, when the car was indeed finished, the work was done fine, and it was pretty affordable at that.
