I've been going to Longmont Vision Center for about 10 years. I used to see Dr. Baker and more recently, Dr. Cottrell. The doctors are great here. However, in the last 2 or so years, I've had issues with some of the front desk staff.I have had excellent vision insurance for as long as I've been going to Lgmt Vision Center. But in the past 2 years, the office staff has asked me to pay for services BEFORE billing my insurance. For example, I ordered contact lenses recently and their first question to me was "How do you want to pay for this today?" I had to tell them to bill my insurance FIRST, to see what they would cover before I go sending them money. Then, they ordered the wrong contact lens for me. I took the lenses back to them (all unopened) and asked for an exchange. It was a little irritating to have one of the front desk women ask me, "Well why don't you like THESE contact lenses?" I had an eye emergency when a piece of debris flew into my eye when I was using a household drill. Being on a Saturday, my normal eye doctor was unavailable and out of town. I contemplated going to the ER in Longmont, but the thought of sitting in a waiting room for hours getting exposed to coughing flu patients was the LAST thing I wanted to do. I was also concerned about being seen by an ER doctor as opposed to an actual eye doctor.I tried calling several eye doctors, but none where available being the weekend. I was told by one doctor that the Longmont Vision Center worked Saturday hours and to give them a call. I contacted Dr. Cottrell and he informed me he had already left for the day, but he was happy to go back into the office to see me. A half hour later I was being seen by him and he quickly and painlessly removed the tiny piece of wood shaving that was embedded in my upper eyelid. I have seen Dr.Trudell for 29 years. Although I have since moved to Loveland I still come to see him for my eye care. I have never had such a caring Doctor. I highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Trudell for years, have always found everyone there very helpfull and friendly. I have been treated very well there and would highly recommend them.
