Good food, very spicy!

I love Mexican food and Efrans does a good job with theirs. When they indicate something is spicy, you better believe it!

My side of the story...

My experience at Efrain's has never consisted of free drinks or free food. Whe have been Pina's customers since she worked in Lafayette and Boulder and since then we've followed her to the Longmont location. We live in Superior and make the trip down to Longmont ever Friday night and some days during the week if we're Lucky! You maybe right in saying that she has a bigger section but how could you not expect her to. We know and have seen many customers that also go make the trip to Longmont just to see her. Let me tell you what keep my husband and I coming back, its the smiles, hugs and good care that makes us feel welcome. Since Pina's section is usually busy, Jenny has tried to offer us seating in other areas so we didnt have to wait and we would much rather wait just to be seated in her section. It sounds to me like you maybe bitter about a person problem you may have had beause another thing is that the food isn't just ok.... its GREAT!

Please be informed costumers when eating at Efrains in Longmont!

Although the food is OK, some people from the staff are obviously taking advantages of others. The only reason why so many people feel like Pina, Manuel and Jenny make people feel like they are part of their family is because these 3 peopple are IN FACT family and they have a complot to make the most money for themselves. Pina being a waitress asks her daugther Jenny (the host) to give her the biggest parties of people, not to mention she has the biggest and better sitting area. Manuel, the bar tender, sneaks free alcohol drinks for Pina's clients so that next time they come they ask to be seated in her section and also so they they leave a generous tip. Pina takes advantage of being the head-waitress and can often offer some free food to the customers such as guacamole and tortillas. This leaves other waiters in great disadvantage. How do I know this? I had a summer job there!Clients, please take this into consideration when eating at the Efrains in Longmont. All the staff that work

Best Mexican Restaurant in Longmont

Service is always great, my husband and I eat here every week and brings out of town friends to this place and the place always leave a good impression of great mexican food, great service and family atmosphere. My husband loves thier Efrain Burrito (HOT) and I always get the Mondongo bowl. When we walk in the door they already know which salsa and drinks to serve, this is how often we have gone to this place.

Efrain's III is the best

Efrain's III is the best!! What makes it the best is the service! Pina, Jenny, and Manuel are the best, they treat you like family before you really become part of their family!!### The food is very good and always of the highest quality!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN FOOD-SERVICE-ATMOSPHERE

I am an Erie resident and used to go to the more convenient Lafayette Efrain's which was always good. I was at times a bit disappointed in the service and atmosphere, but it was Efrain's, after all. After visiting Efrain's III, I was sold. Now, every Friday night and often Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday we make the trip to Longmont. I have family from Centennial to California that request a visit every time they're in town, often making the trip just to go to Efrain's. These folks will make you feel like family and treat you special from the minute you walk in. Thanks to all of you for making the work week end on a high note. See you Friday!!!

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!

I don't know what these other people are talking about. First off, Efrain himself cooks at his Boulder/Longmont locations. I know this because I have known him for many years. Second, if you like waiting for a table for over an hour (or longer if a regular customer come in), Sassy waitresses that you only see once, and having to get up to get attention for servers,Yes Laffayette and Boulder are the right places for you. On the other hand, Longmont is very clean, spacious and has great service. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're apart of the family. Their welcoming staff is part of what keeps us coming back and the food is always served in hefty portions. The Longmont restaurant is more than a eating experience, its like a home cooked meal.

More than disappointing.

Food was ok. We had gone there for my uncle's 80th birthday who had just come into town and we had not seen for over 30 years. After paying, we were just talking and getting ready to leave. The waitress and another person (owner, manager?) stood close enough for us to hear the manager tell the waitress, that if we did not leave soon, ask them to leave. The place was not that busy at that time and they had empty tables around us. They will not have to worry about us ever taking up a table there again. Oh, and by the way, we love going to Efrain's in Boulder.

Food ok here - original is better

Food was ok here - not remarkable. The original in Lafayette is still the best one.

Not impressed - Lafayette is better

Not sure how two restaurants owed by the same people could be so vastly different. Efrains I in Lafayette is really good but Efrains in Longmont (which I think is III) is really so so. It's small, hot and the food is just food. Nothing to write home about.

Too busy, too small

Our visit to Efrain's was, in one word, hectic. Because the restaurant was so busy, we waited a good while for a table. When we were finally seated, there was so little room between tables, we were bumped into several times. The restaurant was so noisy we could not have a conversation across the table. The food was unremarkable - we were too uncomfortable to enjoy our dinners.

Efrain's 1 (the original) in Lafayette is the best.

Efrain's 3 is good but Efrain's 1 is excellent.
