"I had the desire to become an Agency leader from my first day in 2012 with American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL)," recalls Martin Forshee, "and I pursued the opportunity. I'd had a near-fatal motorcycle accident six months before joining AIL and lost my father, who had no life insurance, a month before. My wife and I were stopped at a red light on my motorcycle when a 19-year-old with no driver's license hit us going 50 to 60 miles per hour. The only reason I'm alive today is because an off-duty police officer happened to be at the scene. He made a tourniquet for my leg to buy me enough time to get to the hospital.
