Longview High School offers education to more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with Longview Independent School District, and offers a curriculum that includes English, mathematics, foreign languages, science, social studies, career and technology, and health and physical education. The school also provides special support programs to students with physical disabilities and mental disorders. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including fine and performing arts, journalism, band, orchestra, musical comedy, National Honor Society, yearbook, newspaper and dramatics. The sports activities offered by the school include athletics, baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, powerlifting, soccer, softball, swimming, and track and field. It also has a student council and parent-teacher organization that assists in school activities and fundraising. The school is located in Longview, Texas.
