Established in October of 1934, Lower Columbia College is an educational institution, which offers various courses and services to its students. Located in Longview, Wash., it conducts various athletics, such as volleyball, women's soccer, women's and men's basketball, baseball, softball, tournaments and camps, athletic store and gear. The college provides a number of services to its students, consisting of advising, career center, childcare, disability support services, job search, multicultural services and trio student support services. Additionally, it also offers testing services, transfer center and veteran services.

I attended A worker retraining program ther starting on 2014. My Individual Certificate program was 5 quarters long. After attaining a wastewater certificate, I found out that out of the 13 classes I had to take, only 2 remotely pertained to the field I was going into. How these people can get away with calling a training program what, in fact, it is not, I cannot say. It seemed like false advertising to me. Anyway, it was all a waste of my time, life and money. LCC was an altogether disappointing experience and I cannot in good concience recommend it. It also seemed like some "teachers" were qualified through a correspondence course and had no inate qualities that resembled anything like an actual teacher. I would certainly look elsewhere for "education".
