Went in for a custody dispute, my girlfriend against her ex-husband, and she had custody of their 2 kids. gave a $2000 cash retainer, 3 hearings later and not one apperiance in court. then came the main trial day, no attorney and she lost custody in 2003.Then they wanted more money for loosing the case.If the attorney I paid the retainer too had showed up once in court I would not have felt so wronged

I was charged with Tampering with a witness, Malicious Mischief in the third degree- domestic violence, and interfering with reporting domestic violence.
