LAZY PART-TIME JEWELER

I have been using this store for 5 years for speciality repair work to my already existing jewelry collection.Over the last 5 years, i have taken in items for their part-time, (that's right, part-time), jewelry repairman to take care of and to also know if the item needs to be sent to an authorized sh op,( like watches). My last trip in I brought in:A)2 rings to be sized up & polishedB)1 diamond ring, clean& polishC) 1 Tag-Huer men's watch with a face that had twisted snd was filthy with years ofbman-dirt.D)1pearl ring, needing the pearl to be reglued in place & polishedE) antique multi peice necklace needed repair I gave them a 3 week dead line, as I thought the watch would have to be sent outPick-Up: A) fineB) fineC) when picked-up, still filthy! When replaced the back after battery replacement, was put on sideways. Watch face not straight! Say what?Why did he think he could ignore the instructions by the weird women who work there? They do a good job relaying to him what you heed done. Why didn't he call me? What kind of standards doe's he have? Do work on a fine men's watch and just stuff a battery in it and take a stab at correcting the face, when the problem was really with the bezel, thats what he told me when I wanted to shove that watch . The gaul. He needs to go! He has no pride in his work.D) scratches, he could conveniently get rid of in a jiffy when I tossed it across the counter at him. E) necklace repair, fine.Stay Away....we need to find a REAL jeweler, if you find one post here.Peace
