Provided by YP.comSteve (the shop owner) is always AWESOME! Best place for a beginner, great place to find other people in the community that also love RC. Save yourself a lot of time and money and go see Steve! The value of having a expert willing to help you through most any problems is worth so much.

Provided by YPmobileI wasn't really planning on buying myself a toy the first time I stopped in but the owner was cool and willing to take the time to talk to me and answer some questions about hobbies and hobby ideas I had so I ended up getting an r/c car and it was and is so much fun because it wad so damn fast. After a while I wanted more so I stopped in with my car and they fixed it for me for way less than I thought. They keep parts for your hobbies and help you without being pushy and even demonstrated one of the coolest RC airplanes I've ever witnessed! Stop by the hobby shop it's worth the trip thanks Micro R/C Zone LLC & I'll be back!

Provided by YP.comMicro RC Zone is the only place where I feel that my hobby needs are also complimented with support behind it. Other local shops just care about the revenue coming in, not the actual person behind the dollars. A little caring goes a long way and I can say that I'm not only a fan of this business but I consider the staff as friends of mine.

Provided by YP.comI've purchased several models from Micro RC Zone, and I have always found the owner (Steve) to be very helpful and pleasant. This is my go-to store for my hobby needs.
This shop specializes in electric models designed to be flown in small spaces (known as "parkfliers"). Many of the shop's customers fly at a local park in Longwood, and there is simply not enough room to fly larger, heavier models there. Steve is very helpful, and I have seen him spend a lot of time at the field helping new pilots. Steve is always willing to lend a hand, in my experience.
For people looking to get into the hobby, I highly recommend this show. Steve will give you good advice on an appropriate, inexpensive first model that won't overwhelm a new pilot or end up as a costly pile of balsa sticks on the ground.
