Our first experience of Primrose of Longwood WAS one of hope and delight. The property is well-maintained and the office staff WAS kind, but I have lost any hope in this school as an academic solution for our young ones.

Overall, the teachers were great, but just as our child bonded and made progress with the best teachers, she was either moved to a different class or the teacher was swapped out. For a child who was stated to be "the smartest kid in the class," we were quickly kicked to the curb by management. Sadly, when asked if they had been briefed on our child, new teachers stated, "They don't tell me anything."

Preschool classes tend to be unruly and loud and towards the latter half of our time at this school, it certainly began to present itself as more of a daycare, than a school. I recommend you ask about the turnover rate for their teachers, as I am well aware several have left.

Management of the school is the root cause of the issues with this facility. The teachers are getting the short end of the deal and are ill-prepared to be effective and we have seen engagement wane over the last 6 months. The owner is an unpleasant and condescending warden less concerned about her key stakeholders and more concerned about her bottom-line. We were treated as incompetent parents by the facility's owner(s) for having a toddler who had challenging days, but is receiving professional support outside of school.

I understand this is a business, but we entrust our children with your care and guidance each day. Our child loved this school, her teachers, and her friends. But this school gave up on her and abandoned the opportunity to support her in her growth, development, and her future. I urge parents to greatly consider every aspect of this place before deciding to leave your beloved children here.

This was a lovely place who HAD lovely staff, but lost site of what's most important. Good luck and good-bye, Primose of Longwood.

As for the staff, there are a hand full of teachers that know what they are doing and actually care to take their jobs seriously. The office staff is incompetent and unprofessional! Mrs Vera should not be managing anything. She is childish, unprofessional and a gossiper. She holds a grudge not only against the parent but against the child as well. I really don't know how she is employed at any care facility. Maybe it's due to Mrs Guevara also being a gossiper. She calls herself a director but has no clue about anything. She doesn't know what classroom the children are in, who the parents are or who even works there.
For the amount of tuition each parent pays, the children should be cared for impeccably and they defininitely are not
