A few years ago, I visited Dave to find a couple of youth bikes and to get a few parts for mine. He has a stunning collection of all kinds of bikes, and many are waiting their turn for restoration. Dave primarily restores used bikes, and If you want an older bike that rides with clockwork precision at a super-low cost, this is where you want to go! Perhaps you are just looking for replacement parts for your bike and don't want to spend a lot. Dave has thousands of used parts available. Dave runs his business in a refreshing rural setting, actually a few miles south of Lonsdale. In fact, his business is fairly swarming all over his farm, where he & his family husband a herd of a dozen or so dairy cattle, including one memorable bull who's a real character!

Dave is about as nice a guy as you'll ever meet, and he'll go out of his way to help you find what you are looking for. I haven't made the trip over there to see him lately, but it's well worth the 90-mile drive. He has bikes for the entire family all the time, and it's best to call him in advance, so he can make sure to be ready to see to your needs. It's completely understandable that a few guys like myself think of his place as an old-school biker's haven!
