We have a frequently used gas fireplace that to our dismay decided to stop working in the middle of winter. We consulted two different fireplace shops before finding Valley Stove. Once we visited Valley Stove and talked to the owner, we knew that they were very knowledgeable, honest, and safety was their main concern. After a house call, they were able to immediately diagnose the problem and have our fireplace up and running again. At the same visit, they looked at our outdoor fireplace that we had complained about since moving into the house four years ago. It had several problems that needed addressing. We never used it because it was noisy and frankly looked better when it wasn't burning. Valley Stove discovered the fireplace had been installed incorrectly and also found a gas leak! Because of the faulty install, they couldn't fix it without removing the rock on the outside which would be costly. They honestly told us it would not fix the noise issue. They came up with some other solutions that we had never thought of and we are excited to try. They didn't try to sell us a costly repair and I so appreciate their honesty and integrity. I highly recommend them.
