Provided by YP.comI'm sure they are good, IF YOU CAN GET THROUGH THE RECEPTIONIST AND OFF OF "HOLD" LONG ENOUGH TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.

Because you cannot give a zero rating, I had to give them a one. We took our little dog here last night, how unfortunate for him. With this being the only place we could contact within an hour driving distance, we felt we didn't have any other choice. He went with a bleeding tooth and we were afraid he had lost too much blood. Through the entire experience, they wanted to do surgery. We didn't feel comfortable having him get surgery here with the given staff. We told them we would like them to end the pain and we would take him to our regular vet today. Upon arrival at our vet, they knew there was an underlying cause, not the tooth. With our dogs condition, they didn't believe he would survive blood work, let alone surgery. He was put down this morning. I truly feel that this animal care center plays off people's emotions. They made my husband feel guilty and wouldn't help our dog at all until our credit card was charged. If you do not truly have a care for animals, this is not the appropriate career. I hope future clients read the reviews on this site before their dog is put through hell. I am so sad that my little dog had to spend his last evening in their care.

Provided by YPmobileBrought our dog in and he needed immediate help and they waited 5 hours before they helped him.they were rude and only worried about the money!!!we waiting for our dog to get done and the worker said "you can go anywhere now that ur paid in full"seriously no type of compassion only about money!!!prices are outrages they told us if we didnt pay that we had two options either put him down or take him home the way he was!!!they heartless and that wasnt the only exprience with this place the first time they treated us the same way!!!only cares about the money we went there the second time cause we had no other option!!!BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!ILL DRIVE TO TOLEDO OR ANYWHERE BUT THERE!!HOPEFULLY SOMEWHERE OUT THERE IS A VET THAT ACTUALLY CARES about the welfare of the animal and not about the money!!!!

Provided by YP.comI thought they did a good job. One of the ladies there could have been a little more personable late Friday night, but the girl I dealt with Sunday morning, and the vet Nikki were friendly and nice to deal with. Drove up from Sandusky with my cat late at night, and was glad I went there. I would reccomend the

Provided by YPmobileI brought my dog up there for emergency care. He had been hit by a car. The staff was so caring and compassionate in fact they met me at the door and wheeled him immediately into the back so the doctor to look at him right away while I was getting checked in. During the entire visit the girls that worked there kept me informed on what was going on with my baby until the doctor was able to come speak with me. Before I left him there for care they allowed me to come in the back and see where he would be staying. All I can say was what an impressive facility. They have individual cribs for the animals to sleep in. So my boy felt like he was sleeping bed. I can not say enough wonderful things about this facility and how wonderful everyone that works there is. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Provided by YP.comThis place is great! It's like Metro Trauma unit for your animal. My dog got out of the yard after midnight and got hit by a car. I called my family Vet's after hours number and I was instructed to call the Lorain County Animal Emergency Center because they would not be able to look at her until the morning. No way was I going to let my dog suffer til morning, So I looked up the number and gave them a call.. They were very professional from the first phone call. Once I got there they were awesome!! They treated my dog as good as I've been treated in an emergency room for myself! I was really Impressed!! Thank you Dr Talbott and Thank you to your staff!!

Provided by YP.comI want to tell everyone NEVER take your animal to this place, what a horrible uncaring staff they have, I had to take my dog there because I thought she might of broke her leg on 3/6/2013 where we found out that she had a "aggressive" cancer and if we didn't treat her she would live for about 2 months but we had the option to amputate her back leg and could get possible 4 months with her. It was a very hard decision but we had to put her down that night we did not want her to suffer. I asked to have her cremated and have her ashes, I was told it would be an extra 306.42, which I didn't have but gave my word to pay it on 3/8/2013 (which I did) I was told it would take 7-10 business days to get her ashes back I called on 3/14/2013 to ask if her remains was there and was told no to call back at the end of next week and she would be there, I then called on 3/22/2013 and was told that she was not ready yet and when I asked why it was taking so long I was told "ALLS I CAN TELL YOU IS THE PAPERWORK SAYS SHES NOT READY and someone would call me when she comes back", on 3/27/2013 I called again and was finally told she was there but I owed $306.42 before I could pick her up. I asked what that was for and I was told that was my balance, thank god I had my receipt or I would of owed another $306.42. When I got there to pick her up I wanna'd to know why it took 21 days before I got her remains back the girl tried to blame the crematorium, then tried to tell me that I had a balance and that was why (which I didn't) and I told her I called the crematorium and was told that the VET DIDN"T TAG my dog until 3/20/2013 for pick up so my poor dog had to lay on a cold floor for 2 weeks before anything was done and I was lied to every time I called to see what was going on and I was lied to the day I picked her up, I hope no one will ever have to go through the pain and suffering this place put me through. GOOD LUCK to anyone who takes there dog to this heartless uncompassionate place!!!
