As I am licensed to practice in TN only, on few occasions when I am asked about CA law, I ask Mr. Sletteland. Mr. Sletteland has always provided good legal advices. I also recommended a very good friend to him regarding her issue with building foreclosure and possible bankruptcy and my friend was very happy with the legal service she received.

I probably did things a little backwards but I actuallyI made an appointment with him before checking the web for some reviews and finding the yp.com. It obviously confirmed that I had possibly found the right lawyer to help me with the process. I met with Greg at his Wilshire Blvd. office and was immediately impressed with how friendly he was. When we started going through my financial data, Greg demonstrated a kindness and compassion that I have rarely experienced in dealing with anyone from the legal profession. I usually win on the documents and don' t have to go to court for the hearing. My share of winnings to be paid to me by court on October 5, 2012 and monthly by court for 60 months. I'm back at office working documents and phone calls for 4 more of these cases to finish by today. I hope everybody is doing well and had a great weekend... Also same day, I clicked the final approval for $82k of credit card debt settlement for 3 clients. With Debt settlement, our firm guarantees 40% debt reduction for our client. This means that the client pays roughly 60% of what is owed over 36-42 months. An alternative is chapter 7 bankruptcy, in which no debt is paid back to unsecured creditors as long as our client qualifies by having gross monthly income under the state average for that same number of people in the household. Example one person is $48,009 of annualized gross monthly income maximum to qualify for Chapter 7. Two people is $63,000. Three people is $68,670. Four people is $78,869. If a household's income is higher than the average then we can still file a chapter 13 with some repayment to unsecured creditors based on the income minus expenses for the household, aka "disposable income." A typical repayment can be as low as $66 per month in a chapter 13. Also, a chapter 13 bankruptcy allows us to strip the second mortgage as long as the value of the home is less than the first mortgage. Chapter 13 also allows to catch up on late payments for home to stop foreclosure or car to stop repossession. The catch up payment is only 1/60 per month for what is owed in late payments ... I arrived at his office in the late afternoon possibly only days away from having my wages garnished. Mr. Sletteland not having slept the whole night sent me an email at 4 in the morning telling me my petition had been filed! He is obviously very experienced with this line of work, which is what you need from a Bankruptcy Attorney. Highly recommended!

Provided by YP.comI knew I had found 'the person' to represent me in bankruptcy from our first discussion on the phone. When you are going through the emotional ramifications of bankruptcy, Greg Sletteland's kindness as well as his extremely knowledgable skill regarding the subject is crucial.
Considering what another attorney quoted, I found Greg's rate to be more than reasonable. Most everything we discussed privately was instantly typed into a computer for electronic capture, saving us a lot of back and forth time.
I had a lot of questions and every question of mine was answered thoughtfully, immediately.
His calm demeanor is assuring and professional. He is non-judgemental, which meant a lot to me during examination of my financials. This process requires such an attitude.
Later, after our 'first meeting' I was sure I had made a wise decision hiring Greg. It was at the meeting of creditors though, where I witnessed his brilliance in action... as the Trustee, also impressed, commented on Mr. Sletteland's 'excellent paperwork'. I am also sure it doesn't hurt that he looks like 'a million bucks' dressed in power suit success. Not your typical 'shlocky' lawyer look here.

Provided by YP.comI do admit that when I first saw the advertisement of how much Greg Sletteland charged to process/file Bankruptcy, I was, at first, very skeptical. Then I called him to find out more. He is calm, reserved and very intelligent about the process. He has the patience to listen to your questions and/or concerns and the wisdom to completely answer them. I also felt secure in the fact that he was always available to answer his phone or email, if not immediately, that same day. I really appreciated his professional demeanor and his obvious talent for helping people through this tedious process. I do believe 'you get what you pay for' but in this case I definitly felt like I got the 'star' treatment without the 'star' price. I would not wish for anyone to go through the Bankruptcy process but if they did, I would definitely recommend them to call Greg Sletteland. Thank you so much for a job well done.

Well, there is a first time for everything. Greg Sletteland provided me with amazing service, the best price in Town and the wisdom of a seasoned veteran in my BK filing.
