Cute little place nestled located in Hillhurst. I will definitely be back to this place! Like the cute little bar/eatery attached to.

Super yummy, great place to eat with friends. Breakfast, lunch and pastries were so good. Parking is a little difficult, busy street with meter parking but the food is worth it. They even do movie nights!

What can I say, we are here every week. Fabulous food, ok bar staff and really great servers. We are European and the vibe here is kind of like that. We love it there.

This place upped the ante in recent years, adding a bar with some really good cocktails. The food is so-so, but it's a great place to dine al fresco in Los Feliz. There's also an adorable cottage in back that you can rent out for private parties, bridal showers, etc.

Delicious food. Beautiful spot, sometimes gets really crowded and parking can be tough but they do have valet.

Food and outdoor seating were good, but the $7.50 Princess cake was not. It turned out to be just the regular layer cake with almond & blueberry flavor.

Hands-down one of the best patios to sit and have a cocktail or a glass of chardonnay on a beautiful Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The food is pretty tasty and the pastries are over-the-top decadent. I can't resist their onion rings and the cheese plate is pretty great. The lines can get long but we've never had a problem grabbing a table so it's worth the wait.

Great food, coffee, tea, desserts and ambiance. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The only bad thing is parking can be tough and you might have to walk a few blocks. Great date spot.

Great lunch spot

First time I went to this place and really liked it. They serve breakfast all day which is great. The Menu is diverse. The biggest bonus is outdoor patio (which is pretty large) for nice days. Would definitely go again.

Fabulous

The Alcove is a dream, an adorable cafe-style restaurant with a brick patio. All the food is fantastic, especially the fabulous array of desserts. The lemon-coconut cake is perfect with an infused tea or their hot cocoa, which tastes just like smooth, melted chocolate, not powdery mix crap you get elsewhere. Really suprised by the high quality of everything.

All but 1 thing

The Alcove excels in everything. It has great food, baked goods, coffee. It's all very tasty but the service is terrible. Call me crazy but waiting 15 minutes for an iced coffee is just plain ridiculous.
