Provided by Doctor.comI am writing a review since I decided to see this doctor after I read reviews about her. My Retina specialist at UCLA raved about her. Well, someone mentioned "happy doctor", that stuck in my head, she is happy, positive and made.me feel comfortable. Didnt rush me and knew a lot about homeopathy. She spend a good amount of time explained my complications. I am so glad I read reviews and decided to see her

Provided by Doctor.comDont judge a book by the cover, this doctor walked in and surprised us all, she entered with a smile, was very warm and made my depressed boyfriend cry of joy before we left. We were referred to her by another surgeon at UCLA, my boy friend has an eye issue (due to an accident/fall) that no one was able to fix or help him with.
She is positive, happy, communicative and above all, soooo on top of her game. We were impressed. Hope she never changes.

Provided by Doctor.comyou will see what I mean when you see her. She is not pushy and seemed very honest. She knew a lot about holistic approach to eye care and was very easy going and personable, just as the reviews I read.

Provided by Doctor.comah, cant say enough about this lady. Read reviews on her and decided to go see her at UCLA. Her young appearance concerned me for a few minutes when she walked in the room but I forgot all about it as soon as she started talking. She was helpful, took her time and just like the reviews said she took the time to simplify things and explain them to me. I am grateful for the reviews I read so decided to write a review myself. She came across as a very helpful and knowledgeable "friend" at the end o...

Provided by Doctor.comYes, finding an honest doctor is hard to come by these days. She was honest and I even asked her questions that I knew the answer to and she was soooo frank about answering them. I knew my prescription didnt change, she agreed. She wasnt about to charge me for more tetsting. Yes if you want an HONEST one, this is it.

Provided by Doctor.comI brought my two kis to see her and after seeing her I will make sure my other kids come in to see her as well. My 3 year old has Down Syndrome and is very difficult to work with. This doctor took her time and did not lose her patience. She was informative, came across as very honest and explained our options. My daughters both gave her hige hugs before we left, they usualy dont do that when they see a doctor. Best Ophthalmologist we have seen so far.

Provided by Doctor.comWe are not letting go of this one. My 81 year old mother has been depressed since she cannot see well and we all though she had cataract as her past doctor told her. We just saw Dr. Shokouh at UCLA and she diagnosed my mo with dry eyes and with a prescription my mom can finally see. She does have cataract but no one ever examined her for dry eyes or glasses. We wont let go of this doctor. Highly recommend.
