Provided by SuperpagesI am a recruiter myself, with over 22 yrs of experience. Cari and Lindsey ran an ad on Craigslist, for a Corporate Recruiter, and when I emailed my resume, they both called me & invited me in, to talk about that job. Once I got in, I was ignored at Reception for over 90 mins. When I met Cari, she had no clue that she had called me herself (less than 24 hrs prior to the interview), and invited me to talk about a Recruiting job. With my resume in her hands, she began to talk to me and to consider me for temporary entry-level jobs that pay $10 to $12 an hour! Imagine how I felt about the quality of this conversation, after waiting 90 mins at Reception. I questioned her about the Recruiting job & she very quickly said "Oh, that job was filled today", while looking down and not directly at me! I said: "You should have called me, and cancelled my interview", but I knew she was lying. This was a bad & demeaning experience. I don't recommend it. Don't waste your time here.

Provided by SuperpagesI experienced the same thing as some of the other candidates. I applied for "anonymous employer" job(s) through Craigslist and met with a rep at Career Group. I was paired with a recruiter and have followed up with her several times about new opportunities. I have yet to receive any word or help.

Provided by SuperpagesThis company blatantly places anonymous Ad's to pull in applicants. Upon complaining to BBB, they do not respond. The BBB suggested one could sue them. Had someone from the firm call me and admit they just wish to meet and there is no job as per what was advertised. She admitted this is their practice on Craigslist. Do not waste your time with a company that operates dishonestly. Are they trying to stitch up a commission by having you on their records so that if you got placed by another firm, they could still grab their fee? What is the point of just interviewing people where no such job exists?

Provided by SuperpagesI understand that the market is tough right now... what I don't understand is why Career Group advertises heavily for applicants, then never offers job opportunities to the qualified candidates they do have. My recruiter at Career Group is rude at best and the company will not allow you to work with another recruiter. Despite the fact that I have a Master's degree, am a hard worker, and have excellent computer skills, my recruiter hasn't sent any favorable job opportunities my way. In fact, I am beginning to reconsider the 2 stars I gave them... they really deserve just one.
