Provided by YPmobileOver the years, I have been here more times than I can count with all of my dogs. Each time I have been, I have felt very grateful that these lovely people are in my neighborhood. Unlike other Pasadena area ERs, they do not price gouge and their rates have barely even gone up.
My worst experience was with a senior rescue cocker spaniel named William who was very ill from the day I adopted him. One night I woke up hearing him go out the doggie door and not come back in. When I went out to see where he was, I found him passed out. By the time I got him to Eagle Rock Emergency, he had died in the car. They were kind enough to only charge me half of their regular rate.
Since then, I have been there numerous times and I can't speak highly enough of this place. The receptionist/vet tech "Z" is always a pleasure to interact with. Very kind and compassionate. And Dr. Sullenberger as well. Going to the ER vet is rarely a happy experience, but it is the kind of service that I am very grateful to have so close by.

Provided by YP.comOur eight year old Maltese had a stroke. We had to rush him to emergency. The doctor was so nice, and took the time to explain that our dog had cancer. The tumor was so large it was pressing on the spleen, had affected the brain, and that is what caused the stroke. He did not try to take unnecessary x-rays, or in any way charge us extra money. He explained that because the cancer had developed beyond his ability to save the dog, it was our choice to either do surgery (which would not save the dog long term) or we could put him down. We love our pets and do not want them to suffer unnecessarily. We did have the dog put down, and as difficult as it was to lose our loved one, we were so appreciative of the Doctor and Staff's compassion for us and our pet at that time.
We highly recommend this emergency facility.

Provided by YP.comi took my pug-a-poo Nala to the emergency clinic because of seizure. It was the first time i had ever seen my dog or any dog having seizure, i was freaking out and a friend recommended them because she had a similar situation. We called and they were very helpful. They explained seizure and teh possibke causes, they helped even if we wouldnt go to their clinic. Once we got there they were friendly and they seemed to care about my dog, and understood that money would a issue, they helped and we got a good price as opposed to other hospitals. I hope this helps and you should always call the hospital because sometimes they sound like they dont want to be there and that is not teh kind of attitude you want helping your beloved pet.
