There were several problems with delivery of a container on 9/18/2012, specifically:



1. The container was promised at 8am but didn't arrive until 10:30.



2. When the container arrived the driver stated that he must obtain a weight certificate before the container could be loaded, this despite the fact that the tare weight of the container is prominently displayed on the rear door. The driver had no idea where to obtain such a document and questioned me, as though it was my obligation to provide this information. Fortunately the boss of the packing crew knew of a site and sent a crew member with the driver to locate the site and obtain the required document. This delayed loading at least another hour.



3. When the container was fully loaded the driver stated that a lock was required in order to seal the shipment and reported this to me as though this was a well-known fact and was my responsibility, this after all my personal belongings, including any locks I might own, were stowed for shipment!



These examples of poor planning and miscommunication do not reflect a competently run business.
