Ok im writing this review for my grandmother.
She is a 65 years old Russian lady that doesnt speak a word of english.Surprisingly she went out and did her research (drive around town with her friend) lol and found this smog station.
She was verrrrrrrrrrrryyyy satisfied with the service because she cant really talk and the smog guy took his time explaining her everything very gently and polite.she highly recommends ARON the smog guy at HOLLYWOOD TEST ONLY and she was telling me that we should recommend all of our friends to him lol
so ya i think this ARON guy must be a nice business man to business with because of his good attitude toward my 65 years old grandmother.

Let me just say, I hate leaving good reviews when it comes to mechanics--I was a rabid anti-grease monkey type. As far as I was concerned, all mechanics were constantly trying to rip off women, the elderly and the artistically uninformed.

For months, I've dealt with squeaking, squealing, shrieking brakes. I took my car to the Ford dealership and they said that they were simply a little dusty. After my car made a terrible wailing sound, when I pressed the brakes, I decided to try a mechanic shop.



I chose this place because of the amazing reviews on yelp and yp. After working a 12hr night shift I called to see when an appt would be available. My car was being checked out barely 45 minutes later. They found that my brake pads were the wrong size for my car and that my rotors had never been changed. Ever. Like since the car was created in 2005! OMG!



They changed all four brake pads, changed one set of rotors and even put my front license plate back on (it fell off in a drive thru car wash). They knew that I hadn't slept in 20+ hours and Arin even offered to drop me off, so that I could get sleep! The price was very reasonable for the amount of time it took.



Arin and his crew are amazing. As a girl that has no clue what's even under the hood of my car, I felt comfortable knowing that I was being taken care of. I definitely recommend this place! This will be my go-to car shop from now on!

wow this was the only station that was able to smog my 2010 bmw.

I went there today to get my car smogged. It had failed its last test 2 weeks prior. I told Arin about this and he thoroughly checked over the car even before he set about getting it on the dyno to test.

He walked me through exactly what he was doing as each step of the process began. Furthermore, he was very up front with what his price.

Also, for those VW owners out there, if you need to get a new catylitic converter, talk to your dealership first because Arin told me that its under warranty no matter what. Don't waist your money like me getting it replaced when the dealership could have done it for free....

Arin is a class act and has that entrepreneur spirit!

I WALKED IN AND OUT IN LESS THAN 20 MIN.HE TOOK REALLY CARE OF ME AND ON TOP OF EVERYTHING I PASSED MY INSPECTION.

I had taken my car to several Smog Test Only locations in hollywood and was charged over 80$ each! It wasn't until I read the review from yellowpages.The guy working was the friendliest person you'll meet. Very sociable and I chatted about cars with him while my car was being smogged.he was fair and honest, which is a rarer and rarer commodity these days! im just so happy i passeddddddd

i went here for my smog chek and he did it very quick and im so happy with the results because now i can register my car with no problems and plus i know for a fact i have a clean running car.



i really care about the enviroment and i do my best to keep it this way.



yes i had a good experience and i will go to them again.

I took everyone's advice on this one from YELLOW PAGES and YELP and went here!



i figured the place would be busy and I'd have to wait a while, but when I arrived I was the only customer there. The technician was quick and courteous, and had me out of there in about 15 minutes.Couldn't have asked for a better smog check experience.In and out in under 15 mins (on a weekday) with no appointment.



If you are looking for a quick and efficient place in the neighborhood to do your smog check, this is the place.i will see them next year and i will send them my friends and family.

its so nice to have a huge gas station that can supply me everything i need aka SNACKS.....ice cream haha i use this gas station every morning

Fast, Cheap, no shady stuff, really cool chill laid back employees. These guys know their cars. Charges were very straight forward and no hidden fees. Everything is listed on a board in front of you.The staff are very gentle, caring and focused. They will give you as much explanation as you need!



I never had anyone explain my smog test results before.



I also must have come right in a lull of activity because while I was here three more cars pulled in.

Five stars because when the time comes for another smog check, I'll need this review to remind me where I want to go.





If you want a professional staff, and quality service, you have to check out HOLLYWOOD TEST ONLY AND SMOG CHECK.

The smog guy had a great attitude when i went to get my car checked.I had a bad experience at another shop and the tech felt bad for the service I received so he gave me a really good deal.who does that this days.it was pleasure taking my car to that station and i will go there next time if i need one :)

As soon as i walked in to that station this morning i knew i was gonna have a great experience with them.verry friendly staff. i told him i was late from work and he tested my car in less than 15 minutes,i was out on the road to my way to work in 20 minutes.i will definitely go back and send all my friends to them.



The price was very reasonable and the customer service was awesome.For me this are the main two things that im always concerned about.



I will see them soon with my wifes car.

Thank god i found this station.when i called the smog guy sounded really professional.When i got there he was friendly and efficient, and the price was what I was quoted.anyways long story short i went there and he got me in and out in 15minuntes and yes i did pass my smog! i will see him again for my next smog check.i highly recommend this station to people who stay around hollywood area.

This guy is awesome. He was super cool.He knew more about my used car than I could have learned from the dealer who sold it to me,lol The test was FAST, inexpensive, and the customer service was excellent.i will go back to him next year NO QUESTIONS ASKKKKKKKKK and i will refer him my family and friends!

Very nice folks. I've been going there for many years because it's test only and best of all they are straight up, no bull. I just went today, around 9:30. I was out by 10:15 with 2 people ahead of me (one was almost done). So with the paperwork and what not, it's about a 15-16 minute process (that may change if the state adds on more test requirements). The 2 people ahead of me passed, so they were happy customers too. My general advice for what it's worth is replace cracked hoses, change the oil, oil filter and air filter, inflate the tires to proper pressure and bring it in warmed up to it's usual operating temperature. If it's been running rough, get a tune up first. HOLLYWOOD TEST ONLY IS THE BEST SMOG STATION IN TOWN just go there and ask for ARIN hell give you a good deal!
