I struggled at Santa Monica College for over four years, before I signed up with Imagescholar. They got me into NYU (my dream school) in six months! I couldn't have done it without the counselors there. I still keep in touch with them. They're really cool guys and I recommend them to anyone struggling at school!

I highly recommend Imagescholar to any parents with school age children. I live in Palos Verdes, but I happily drive my children to this place three times a week, because of the people who work there. I have been to many academic service places throughout the past seven years because of my two children. As a single parent, I was nearly in tears to see my son really taking in what the counselors were saying and how much he has improved....both academically and socially. One of the counselors, Blakeleigh Kim, is a rare find. He seems to have a gift in understanding people, and he knows so much about the psychology of children and how to assist them towards success. He also offers many wonderful ideas to help parents to deal with teenagers. Both of my children (my daughter will graduate an year early because of Blakeleigh) owes everything to Imagescholar. I am recommending this place, and Blakeleigh Kim, to all my friends and family members!

My son is now getting these acceptance letters from top colleges that I didn't think that he had a chance of getting in. As a single father, I had always worried about my son's education. When he stuggled in school last year, I received a recommendation from a friend of mine to take him to Imagescholar. The people there were wonderful. They created specific plans and strategies for me and my son. They were very patient and thoughtful. I am very grateful for all they have done for me and my son. The tutors and the counselors were all first rate! I especially want to thank Blakeleigh Kim and David Lomba for their extraordinary effort to help my son. Thank you!

I am currently a student at the Naval Academy; however, cannot give Imagescholar and "Dr." Kim any credit for where i am today. I attended imagescholar for a year with my sights on the service academies. Mr Kim, however; did not believe that it was possible for me to enter the Academy. I did not have stellar grades in high school and because of this, Mr Kim looked down upon me. He took advantage of my parents, Korean immigrants who cannot speak or understand the language well, and also ridiculed them behind their backs. Mr Kim told me he had a friend at Westpoint working in admissions and said he would find out more about the Academy through him. However, all he did was tell me useless information which would have harmed my chances of getting into a Service Academy rather than help. In my senior year in high school, he told me to join ROTC which wouldn't have done me any good. I went to see if i really could join as a senior, but was told it was too late. Mr Kim got furious when he found out that i could not get myself into the program. He told me to find out when due dates for the application was. I was confused as to why I had to figure out these due dates because my family was paying him to do this for me. I ended up leaving Imagescholar going through the application process on my own. I barely made the due date to get my congressional nomination. In fact, I would have missed the date if I had stayed at Imagescholar because i would have relied on an unreliable source to do do the research for me. Mr. Kim was clueless about the Service Academy application process. After a year, my family had invested tens of thousands of dollars to get scanty information and only be taken advantage of.

I took my son to ImageScholar (Image Scholar) to sign up for SAT classes. They gave us the option of either sending a tutor to our home or having the sessions at their own facility (which was quite convenient). After taking a course there, his score went up around 300 points. He told me that he learned quite a bit and loved the atmosphere there. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We will probably be using their college counseling program as well and maybe even subject tutoring if he starts having trouble in any of his classes. We had tried another company for tutoring and the tutor wasn't very good so we didn't have high hopes for this place. But luckily, it turned out to be quite surprising. They weren't after our money like the other company we tried. If you are having ANY educational issues, I highly suggest giving ImageScholar a call.

Imagescholar has friendly staff and great tutors. They helped me prepare for the SAT's. I would def use them again.
