Provided by YP.comawesome spot for sushi downtown! I had stuffed eggplant for the first time, it was delicious! My friends and I shared the sashimi sample- very fresh and tasty. I also had the kiwi scallops, which was unlike anything i've ever had before. I'll def be coming back here again!

Provided by YP.comI was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of this restaurant, especially because it's a sort of chain, but the Downtown Katsuya location does not disappoint. A great array of original cocktails from the wet bar and some top-notch sushi (I'd recommend in particular the baked crab and yellowtail rolls). I decided to do it up right and then ordered the Kobe with Foie Gras, which was one of the best cuts of meat I've ever had.
In the massive entertainmoplex of LA Live, Katsuya sticks out like a sore thumb, because it's authentic and truly impresses the guest. 5 stars.
