The famous 5 pound burrito lives here in East Los Angeles at El Tepeyac!! It would defeat me hands down. Now if I was in my early 20's, I might have stood a chance

The food here is great, and the portion size is also a plus. A must try.

Dying for El Tepeyac's

Unlike the last customer, I've been going to this restaurant since the late 1960s and it is still my most favorite restaurant of all times. No matter the length of the line, it's always worth the wait!

We moved away in the late 1990s but it's the first place we eat when we land in Los Angeles. We usually leave Los Angeles with about 10 frozen dinners to tide us over until our next trip.

Obviously, the staff and owners treat us like royalty!

Ok food...staff not so good.

Heard about this place on Man vs Food. Went to try the famous Manuel's special burrito that is for 4 people. There was a line outside the door and it smelled good! If you don't wanna wait, there is a take out window which was very convenient if you are starving. We ordered the huge burrito which is about $18. The only thing I didn't like was that the lady got our order wrong with another customer. Little did we know the guy infront of us ordered the same thing but with different meat. It was too late cause we had already started devouring the meal. The entire kitchen staff must have scolded her so bad that she came out of the kitchen with tears in her face still trying to keep it together and still tried to help the customers out. I felt that was so unprofessional and pretty much ruined the entire meal. The burrito was big and got cold real fast. Wasn't something that would make me come back. At one point I asked one of the kitchen staff if I had to pick up the plates or if I had to leave it on the table. He pretty much turned at me as if I had to nerve to distrupt him from what he was doing and responded to me in an attitude to just leave it there! Staff probably needs to attend some kind of attitude adjustment classes. Don't think I will come back to this place. Left the poor lady a $10 tip.
