Matrix Institute on Addictions exists to help those who misuse, abuse or are addicted to alcohol or drugs (prescription or illicit substances) find a way into recovery; to promote a better understanding of addictions; and to improve the quality and availability of addiction treatment services. Back in 1984 when Matrix Institute on Addictions first opened its doors to patients, no one could have imagined the significant impact we would make in the years ahead. T Today, we’re marking 30 years of important milestones in the field of substance abuse treatment – always with an eye toward the next groundbreaking contributions we can make in the decades ahead. Importantly, Matrix is celebrating the thousands of lives saved – both literally and figuratively, relationships restored and purpose reclaimed through our innovative treatment model, which is recognized as one of the most effective, evidence-based outpatient alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs in the world.
