This is a great little museum with lots of hands on experiences. It's pretty small so we usually go to the art museum too. Our favorite part is the wall of Wolf skulls.

Cute little museum that can be digested in an hour or two. Neat, but small, collection of fossils excavated from the nearby tar pits. Cool space.

Good but not great!

My daughters had a good time at the tar pits but it could have easily been better if they would have had some type(s) of interactive exhibits. This would have made it more interesting for the kids (and the parents as well - lol).

The grounds are free and the museum has a nominal fee which I would probably skip if we were to go again.
