I went to a local mail office supply and they messed up my Canadian Citizenship photos which made my application get returned.

Consequently I came to The Photo Center because Marvin was rated perfect on Yelp for Canadian citizenship/passport photos. They we perfect. He knew all the rules and regulations, eg. like it having the photos be stamped. Get it done right. Very quick.

I was able to get the right size photo for my Jamaican Passport. Thank you Photo Center. Another place gave me the wrong size and you corrected it.

A perfect experience. The British are very fussy about their passport photos, which have different requirements than the U.S. This photographer knows all the countries' rules. His photo sure worked in the U.K. My passport application was accepted in one day. Very quick, professional, friendly, and nicely priced. Highly recommended.

He's a genius and gives tremendous customer service. I'm a travel writer and he always helps me the klutz with the technical stuff for my photos.

I can't begin say enough good about this guy. Very attentive and friendly / personable. I came in with my broken Canon lens and even though I had interrupted his lunch he was unrushed and engaging in his response to find out what the particular problem was.

The parts had to be ordered but in only 4 days he called to say it was ready. Same friendly guy when I went to pick it up -- he even took the time to give me some tips and shoot the breeze a little...

"The lens?" you ask? Yes -- it was fixed - perfect ;)

UPDATE: Went back again this time to have a used camera checked out I was thinking about buying.... with only about an hour's notice he took time from his schedule to inspect the camera and give me a thorough assessment.

When it comes to pleasant, knowledgeable, (like almost "walking encyclopedia" knowledgeable) and friendly --Marvin is the poster guy for phenomenal customer service. He's patient and he's completely 'present' when he talks (not rushing or distracted) taking the time to talk to even us newbies without talking down or sounding patronizing.


Photo Center is the only place I will ever go now for any camera or lens issue.

2 thumbs up on the Canadian passport photos for sure. If these are not done exactly right it is a huge hold up. This guy does know how to do pic for Canada.
