I was having an extremely difficult weekend after dealing with an emotionally unstable stalker and fearful for my life when I reached out to rapid legal to serve my harasser an order of protection. I had a temporary address that he would be staying at for only a week so I opted for the urgent more expensive service knowing that this was my one chance to serve him the injunction before he moved on to an unknown residence.



They were aware of the time sensitive situation and the fact that he had just supposedly started a new job. After rapid legal started their service attempts I began to realize they were visiting the hotel during normal work hours when he would clearly not be home. After a few days of no luck I asked if they could try later after normal business hours like 6:00 or if they could try the work address during the day if that was when they were going to try to serve. All the while I was receiving upsetting letters that would have counted against him had he received the injunction. To switch the work address I found which I wasn't positive about was going to be another 115 dollars so I let them continue at the hotel. I don't make a lot of money so this was a pretty big deal bill wise. After over a week they still were unsuccessful and past his check out date.



Disappointed and not sure what to do next I asked them if there was anyway they could take my fee down to their normal charge instead of the urgent cost considering they were unsuccessful and that 50% of their attempts were made when he would have been at work. They were completely non-compliant and unremorseful so now I have no money to pursue another server and no idea where this guy went. All I can do now is wait for his next attempt to harm me. If anyone is thinking about using them for an urgent service I would strongly suggest you keep looking for a better company with more commonsense and perhaps some compassion.
