Dishonest staff and poor quali...

Dishonest staff and poor quality merchandise. I bought a suit for my teenage son which after two months fell apart. when I brought the garment into the store, the sales reps spent several minutes arguing that the suit was not from their store. Then when the sales receipt proved that it was theirs, the clerks argued that my son was not wearing the garment properly. I disagreed with this excuse and asked for a remedy. The clerk, Oscar, stated that he would check with his boss, who would be in "tomorrow". They were supposed to call me back to discuss the issue, but they never did. After several days I called back and Oscar again claimed that they garment fell apart because my son was not wearing it properly. When I asked to speak to his boss I was told that he would be in "tomorrow". This store apparently sells shoddy merchandise which it does not stand behind. A $200 suit should not fall apart after 2 months and it certainly does not fall apart because it isn't worn properly. My money certainly is going back to this store, and neither should yours.

Roger Stuart Clothes Inc. are bad business people

I went to ROGER STUART CLOTHES INC at 729 S. Los Angeles St. CA. 90014 because I heard the advertisement on Dennis Pragers radio show. His personal word influenced me to go to that store. I found a suit I liked at a good price; I received great customer service from the sales person. I paid for the suit with my credit card and left feeling good about my buying experience fully intending to tell my friends about the store. Until the following day I tried to use my credit card and it was declined. I was flabbergasted but figured it was a mistake. I went on-line and checked my bank account and found that Roger Stuart Clothes had charged twice for my purchase and drained my account of every dime I had. Mind you this is just before Thanksgiving. I called the store and spoke to the person that processed the transaction and he told me there was only one charge. I told him I could bring my bank statement to show the mistake and was told he could care less what I could show him it meant absolutely nothing to him. I then took my bank statement and my receipt to the store and I spoke to a man by the name of Fernando who was ready when we got there with strips of paper from his records and told us there was nothing he could do, it was impossible that they charged more than once and Id better go to my bank. I went to my bank and was told in no uncertain terms that the merchant is the one who sent over two transactions and the only thing I could do is fill out several forms, handwrite the incident, dispute the charges and pay $10.00 to have everything notarized. I called Roger Stuart again to make one last attempt to ask them to be reasonable and spoke with a man named Roger Keller who, I must say I believe he really tried to assist me, by putting me on conference with the company responsible for processing Roger Stuarts bank transactions and basically I was told by the person I spoke with Kathy that two transactions are always put through and it is basically up to the bank to drop one of them. What? Yep thats exactly what I said. I got off work at 1:00 from my job thinking that I was going to be able to take the suit to the tailor and get on with my Holiday trip, but no I spent 5 hours talking on the phone driving back and forth from downtown to my bank, each time I had to pay for parking $6.00 and I had to pay the notary $10.00. Needless to say this is an experience that you need not risk. There are too many fish in the sea, this company obviously does not value its customers, lacks integrity and the security of their customers credit card information, is comprmised and of even less value to them than the customer after the sale. Buyer Beware
