Founded in 1916, Sierra Park Elementary is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 630 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies, physical education, English and computer applications. The school also offers classes in industrial and public service education, music, art, home economics and foreign languages. Sierra Park Elementary provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. In addition, it offers bilingual and Title I programs. The school maintains a staff of over 35 individuals. Sierra Park Elementary operates business education, health careers and interdisciplinary departments. It is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
