The food at this restaurant is crappy....



Or maybe the people are just stupid.



I eat here a few years back. I usually pass by this restaurant on the way home from Silverlake and notice it. One time I decided to come in and try the food. The 1st time I like the food and it had a decent taste. If just base on that one experience, I would recommend this restaurant.



However, months later I decided to try this restaurant again and the food was terrible. The food was barely luke warm and it did not taste that good. Food just taste better when it is steaming hot coming out of the kitchen.



And I don't trust food that is luke warm, because if it is cook properly, it does not reach the right temperature to kill any possible pathogenic bacterias in the meat or vegetables.



In any case, I never came back to this restaurant again for safety reason. Plus why would I come to a restaurant where the food is crappy.



But now it occur to me that maybe it could have been stupidity and not because they can't cook.



Why? Because before coming to this restaurant the 2nd time, I ate at a Thai restaurant over at Alvarado St & Maryland St. which I don't think they are in business anymore. And the food they gave me was so hot that tears ran down my eyes. I drank water and it did not help. I even went home and drink milk, as milk is suppose to be alkaline, to counter the acidic proper of the hot pepper and it did not help either.



Of course I complaint about it being too hot, spicy hot that is, and it must have pass around. And they must have heard it through the grapevine and these people can not distinguish between spicy hot & steaming hot and serve me food that is warm and not hot. I have heard of collective intelligent. But in this case I would call it collective stupidity.



Or maybe they just have crappy food and my speculation above is wrong.



In either case, I did not come back to this restaurant again.



I gave it 1 star because of the crappy food I got the 2nd and last time I was here.
