Provided by YP.comYou can’t call yourself a hamburger aficionado in Los Angeles without trying the Hickory burger. As far as I’m concerned it’s hamburger perfection: savory/ sweet hickory smoked barbecue, mayo, cheddar cheese and crisp lettuce. That’s it. Nothing fancy and it doesn’t need to be. The fries are always cooked to a golden crisp and one order is enough for two people to share. On top of that, they also serve the best banana cream pie in town. The servers can seem surly at times, but they’re no slouches. Lines to get in can be long, but the wait is worth it.

Provided by YPmobileThe Apple Pan is a total blast from the past. I love the old school ambience and the hickory burger is pretty good too.

Provided by YP.comThe food is definitely good, but I feel that this place is overrated. There is hardly any seating, and they don't even have milkshakes! Seems strange form a restaurant that specializes in burgers and fried.

Provided by SuperpagesEasily one of the best burgers in LA. After 60 years of making burgers, these guys know how to do it right and do it fast. If you consider yourself someone who enjoys a great burger, than go to Apple Pan and I promise you that you will not leave dissatisfied.

Provided by YP.comIf a restaurant was frozen in time from Happy Days, you get an idea of what this place looks and feels like. Everything could be considered an antique from the stools to the toilet. which fooled me when I walked into the bathroom. The long lines had me wondering how good the food was but I was slightly disappointed. The burgers were good with cheese, i've never heard of and the snow cone cups were interesting. The pies were great though and the old school register didn't resemble anything in this decade. All in all. it was a great experience but somehow the food fell short. When I go there, I usually park at the mall without problems because parking is really bad especially at night.
