If these lawyers call you (first any firm that does cold calls should be questioned), I recommend hanging up. I'm usually pretty sharp and aware, but they called a day after I lost my job (got laid off) and I was very vulnerable to their pitch. I turned them down the first time snd they called back with a refi offer that "three other clients already signed up" and they didn't want me to miss out. Needless to say, I was suckered, waited 10 months for action where they finally went to my mortgage co. for a refi request and then sent me a denied letter with an opportunity to throw more good $ after bad to pursue a formal lawsuit. I still get sick to my stomach everytime I hear their name. Because they ate lawyers, took me some courage to post. I feel like they'll hunt me down and sue me. Don't be like me. Just stay away.
