Provided by YP.comThe contractor didn't want to itemize the material cost and labor cost. He had something to hide as if he was going to use cheap materials while the rest of the amount you paid him will go to his pocket. The moment I asked him to itemize the cost, he backed down on the job. I wouldn't trust any contractor who doesn't want to give me a detail on what my money is being used for. I rather pay more for quality materials and work, than what he had to offer. For him to improve he should be specific in what materials and products he will use. If the customer wants quality material, he should be able to estimate the cost of it. In addition, he shouldn’t lie by saying most of the money will be used for the materials.
