I sent my $11,000 2013 JLC Master Compressor to WCW to have a few light scratches buffed out and finished on the bezel and deploy clasp. What I got back was a nightmare. My watch (and especially the case which was in perfect condition) is ruined and I'm now in need of finding a professional refinishing house in the states to repair the damage to my watch. Eric at WCW said he wanted the watch back so he could see it himself, because everyone there said they could not believe the pictures i sent, and that the watch did not leave there looking that way. Would you send your $11,000 watch back under these circumstances? When I asked for my card to be credited back I was told no. Send it back, or there is nothing we can do is what Eric told me. Very poor business practices. If I ran my business that way I'd be out of business. I can't speak for their other services, but if your "Expensive" watch is in professional need of a polish and refinishing I highly recommend you do not send it here. I'm sure they will write some kind of snappy response saying they were willing to do everything blah blah blah, but you'd be wise not to listen and take my advice contained here in this review.

I just recently bought a Rolex...

I just recently bought a Rolex, and the timing was a bit fast. Instead of going thru the hassle of sending it in to Rolex directly I came here. From previous experience with Rolex it took MONTHS to have anything done with them. West Coast Watch was able to regulate my watch within 15 minutes or so and I was on my way with minimal charge. It was on the low end if you were to bring it to Rolex.

This place is very clean and secured with cameras all around the office. If i ever needed to leave my watch here I would have no issue.

STAY AWAY! This was the most ...

STAY AWAY! This was the most excruciatingly frustrating "business" experience I've endured. Movado, the HEADQUARTERS, out of state, for me, told me that this was the closest "service center" to me, as they (HEADQUARTERS) no longer had the three screws needed for the back of my five year old watch case. I called WCWSC and the man, who identified himself as the manager, told me to bring in my watch and he'd match up the screws, from their spare parts and inventory, that I needed. After driving an hour and a half through horrendous traffic, I found bullet proof glass, counter to ceiling, separating the public from the employees. A young woman appeared and I explained the situation, she took my watch and returned in less than a minute and told me that Movado doesn't have the screws available. I said, yes, that's what I had mentioined and that's, also, why your manager told me to bring it into you, as your manager would match up the screws from your inventory or spare parts. She informed me that they have no spare parts or screws. I asked her why her manager told me to come in and she said that she had called him and he told her that they have no spare screws. I, once again, asked why her manager asked me to drive all the way here? She said that she'd ask the female manager, who was in. The female manager told me that they don't have any spare parts, so I asked her to, please, just take out the one screw holding the back of the watch on and I'd take it home and just silicone the edges so that I don't lose the back when the last screw falls out. She told me that the last screw looks scratched and that she didn't want the responsibility of taking the back off. I mentioned that I don't want the back removed, just the screw and I'd take it off when I got home. Again, she refused, so I asked if I might, please, borrow the small screwdriver needed, in order that I could remove the screw, myself, and I'd be responsible. She told me that they don't lend tools. These people are THE ABSOLUTE WORST, MOST UNCOOPERATIVE, NON-CARING "people," that I've had the displeasure of attempting to do business. In my estimation, if you don't have a MAJOR repair, worth lots of $$$'s, or you don't wish to purchase a watch, they think of you as a nuisance to get rid of and send packing. They, in my estimation are non-caring, greedy "individuals," and I say "CAVEAT EMPTOR!"

Dear Tom, Per your conversation with Movado HQ they informed you that the screws were discontinued, and suggested you to send the watch to them in NJ. We did confirm that the screws were no longer in production and we offered two options to assist you: 1. Leave the watch at our facility for a few days to give us time to locate any spare screws for your timepiece. 2. Send it to Movado HQ in New Jersey. However, both offers were declined. Upon further examination we noticed damage to the caseback of your watch, and you confirmed the damage was done by your own repairs. Three caseback screws were missing, and one not of manufacturer screw not properly attached on. Per your conversation with our staff members you brought the watch to a local jeweler and had a random screw put on, while the rest of the screw holes were filled in with silicone. We did not want to be held responsible for any more damage occurring to your timepiece, so we kindly declined your request to have the last screw taken out for you to fill with silicone. Per company's policy we do not lend out watchmaker tools to the public. We apologize you did not agree with this; you are more than welcome to call and speak with management regarding your issue. Best regards, WCWSC Staff
