Provided by YP.comSo we decided to have biscuits and gravy for breakfast, my sis mentioned Eddie's in los banos, so today (3/2/18) we stopped in, i ordered bacon, eggs hashbrowns, and a side of biscuits and gravy, my sister ordered eggs and bacon with a side of french toast, oh i also ordered a coke while sis got coffee, our sides of biscuits and french toast came in a timely manner, sis would've liked a bit more syrup but not a big deal, i will say ive had better bisciuts and gravy, as tge gravy didn't have a lot of flavor and appeared watered down some, our eggs came cooked as ordered as did my hashbrowns, our bacon seemed over cooked ,dry and no where near tge quality one would expect from a small town diner, the waitress was also quick to place a tree of three types of jam on the table, i first noticed that one of the dishes of jam was more tgen half used, im not about to use this cause who knows how the last person used it, as i pointed this out to my sister, she pointed out that we didnt have any toast anyhow, i finally got a waitresses attn, and her commit was something about we got bisciuts instead of toast( yes bisciuts end gravy for me as a side) by tbe time we got a slice of bread for sis to use with her eggs, the eggs were cold, as was her empty cup of coffee, as we made our way to the register my sister pointed out to me the three opened and used looking lolli pops in the bowel for kids, the waitress told my sis that they come that way out of the box, to top the morning off, i headed out to the car for a smoke, but almost got ran over in the parking lot by a guy in a white ford pickup who was backing up fairly quickly, two guys that overheard my cussing of the driver, told me it was tge diners owner himself driving the truck, sad to say I'll not be visiting Eddie's cafe again, anyonè whos interested in a pleasant meal, shiuld try out black bear diners for there awesome bacon, or tge sixth street diner for the chicken fried steak.
