Their Lamb Stew and Lamb Chops are excellent. Pricing for their food and drinks are great too. Go hungry when you go there.

This is my favorite place to stop whenever I'm near Los Banos for a family style Basque lunch or dinner. The long family style tables are a welcome change for this solo traveler since I have enjoyed excellent food and conversation with the other diners! I've been there for lunch, I'd like to try dinner there sometime to see if it could possibly be even better?..
Plenty of good, hearty food that begs you to take your time to enjoy.
This is definately not the place to go for a "quick bite", set aside the time to enjoy the meal and the company, in my opinion it is well worth it! The lamb chop entree with all the other courses was only $18 and a bargain anywhere! The servers are friendly, efficient and instantly make you feel at home.
I'll look forward to my next trip that will take me near Los Banos just so that I can stop by the Wool Growers for a hearty Basque meal experience!

food is okay,you get large amounts of it,but downside was that silverware was dirty and you got to sit with others at picnic tables.
