Provided by YP.comFOR 9 BUCKS, I CAN KEEP A MOVIE FOR AS LONG AS I WANT. I CAN GET B/T 4 & 5 MOVIES PER MONTH. ALL I HAVE TO DO IS TO JUST PUT THE DVDS IN THE BOX WHEN I AM DONE. THIS NETFLIX THING WAS A GENIUS IDEA. I HAVE NOT GONE TO A VIDEO STORE IN A LONG TIME. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS WONDERFUL TOO. THEY HELPED ME QUICKLY SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

Provided by YP.comI sent some Canon blue metallic camcorder to www.mdlr video specialist.com, Manuel de la Rosa Video specialist they claim they are, but not in YELLOW pages. They're RACIST, not licensed, says city of Port Hueneme is hawaiian. An ol' woman picks up the phone, says my name & says she was expecting my call, then hangs up on me. I call again, and she goes, Do you still want to do business with us??? --like real slow, lame on weed, & full of dung like Jonathan Swift book! get a clue!

Provided by YP.comI work at Movie Gallery. Have for a while. Netflix is..or was our competittion. I wanted to see why it was so great, and why it was driving us out of business.
So, I go to the site to try the two week free trial. Once I'm signed in, I start reading and going through all the different things they have and all the different options. I sat at my computer for hours rating movies (almost 900) just to see if the titles they recommend are accurate. Guess what? They actually are! Every movie that I have watched, except for a few, I rate exactly what they say I would. After three days, I looked at my fiancee and told him, "I don't care what you say, I am sooo not cancelling this! I love it!" And I do!
It may take a little while to recieve DVDs, but they have changed the system a little bit, so if the first DVD in your Queue is unavailable, they simply send you the second one. Then, when the one that was unavailable become available, they send it to you as an extra, so you never miss out! And the wait isn't really THAT long...one day for them to recieve it in, and a day for them to send it to you. What's the matter with that? They are movies...it's not like they are going anywhere anytime soon.
One time I got 'Alice in wonderland' and 'Kiki's Delivery Service', and neither of them showed up. I simple went into my account and told them I never recieved them, and they sent me replacements, no questions asked! They are trusting, curtious and very easy to contact. The phone numbers are listed on the site, along with FAQs, troubleshooting, and the site is so helpful that you don't really even have to ever call.
Renting, Redbox, whatever. Netflix is definately popular for a reason!

Provided by YP.comAfter being a member for 3 years, I just canceled my membership, because I can't use my prepaid card (I am young and don't have established credit). It is their policy to not accept them, but I have been using one to pay my account all this time. But recently my card expired, so I had to get a new one, and it's not being accepted, as per their policy. However, if they were to change this policy, I would rejoin. If you understand that it will take several weeks to see a new release, everything else I've experienced with them, has been positive.

I do not like the way you steal credit numbers from people and then you ignore numerous requests to stop sending these DVD's. Your phone lines are always busy or, what I think is taken off the hook, so calls cannot go through. Your service is customer service is below poor, if at all possible and I will never recommend you to anyone to order from. The only thing I would tell people is to stay away from you at all costs. I give you an F-.

Provided by YP.comWe've been Netflix subscribers for years and love it. We live WAY out in rural WA state and are amazed at the quick turn-around time. The few times we've received a damaged DVD we let them know on line and they send out a replacement before they even get the bad one back. Finding new and interesting movies is easy too.

Provided by YP.comNetflix has a history of screwing over their customers who get a lot of movies. I finally got tired of being skipped over for new releases and called to complain. The response was that if I didn't like that policy I could cancel. So much for concern for customers. After more than 6 years, I had enough and canceled.

Provided by YP.comIf you return a DVD by mail and they do not happen to have your next choice, they could mail you a DVD, not that day, but the next day from across the country. I live in California and I was sent an email yesterday saying they received by returned DVD, but they would be mailing me one from New Jersey tomorrow and I would receive it on Friday.
So they receive a DVD on Monday and it takes until Friday to get the next DVD if it is not in stock. Apparently their system is too stupid to go to the next one on your list and mail you that one. Well that is not true either because one time the movie I request was in stock per my queue and they mailed the next on in the queue.
So I guess it just depends who is picking the orders that day.
To wait a week to receive a DVD defeats the purpose of receiving your next choice in a reasonable amount of time.
Not High Tech, Not High Touch Either, just High Idiots!!!
