Whitewater Excitement, Inc has been offering American River rafting trips in California for over 35 years. Our Private Riverside Campground area, right on the banks of the American River sets us apart from other river rafting companies. Our campground area has modern bathroom facilities, spacious camp areas, volleyball, horseshoes, and deluxe outfitter-styled cabin tents on decks overlooking the river. Our dedicated camp host is always on site to help our guests. We offer from 1/2 day to 3 day white water rafting trips. Our South Fork American River trips have something for everyone. From our Young Rafters trips for kids as young as 4, to our class 3 rafting adventures for beginners and experienced rafters. Our Middle Fork American River trips offer a summertime class 3 and 4 adventure that challenges rafters with its class 4 rapids. The North Fork American River is our advanced springtime class 4 river, great for those looking for that ultimate challenge. Lastly the Merced River, located right outside Yosemite National Park, is the wildest river that we run. We give our all to make your river rafting adventure the best it can be.
