Margaret Balhoff has over 30 years of experience as a physical therapist, and 20 years specializing in craniosacral therapy (CST). Margaret is a registered craniosacral therapist (RCST) with the Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America (CSTNA). RCST credentials require successful completion of a two-year training. In addition, Margaret has taken advanced coursework in biodynamic craniosacral, as well as several CST seminars through the Upledger Institute. She has successfully applied CST to a variety of conditions, including headaches, back & neck pain, and head injuries. Margaret has worked with all ages, from babies to elderly, as CST is extremely gentle work. Margaret utilizes other manual therapy skills, including Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Strain-Counterstrain (SCS), and Visceral Manipulation (VM). These are all osteopathic methods which address dysfunction or strain in joints, muscles or organs. These methods help improve function and reduce pain through improving motion and/or balance in these tissues.
