6/13/2011- Prior to visiting this store, I took my daughter's bike to one of or maybe even the best known bike store in Louisville. That store is in the neighborhood and I've also used them in the past. Never again!! I needed to purchase a bicycle chain and have it installed. That store was going to charge $15 for the chain + $15 labor for a 10 minute, if that, job (install a bike chain) and on top on that I would have to leave it and pick up on Wed (the 15th). I totally understand there are other customers in front of me, but 2 days to install a chain for a kid's bike that only takes 15 minutes tops?



Then I found The Bike Shop (2833 4th Street-around noon on 6/13). The chain was more reasonable and t didn't cost me as much to have it installed. Plus he aired the tires. Airing tires seems small, but I would not have been surprised if the other store didn't charge me $3-$5 to do that.



I will tell all my friends about the Bike Shop. True I had something simple done, but the top notch service I received from the guy working there is something that can't be brought. Sorry I didn't get the guys name, but thanks for helping me make one of my daughter's birthday wishes come true.
