Cardinal Integrated Systems began in 1968 as a standard material handling products distributor. The founder, Phil Scholtz, expanded into engineered material handling products in 1972 and added a shop and installation group in 1975. In 1982, the company was acquired by Cardinal Carryor and has since operated as a division. Cardinal Carryor was established in 1947 and is a leader in the lift truck market. Cardinal Integrated Systems offers products for many applications, including air doors, carousels, conveyors, cranes and hoists, dock equipment, doors, lifts, modular workstations and racks and shelving.
