Seven Counties Services is a community mental health center that serves several residents of Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties in Kentucky. It offers planning, prevention, treatment and support services for people with mental disorders, developmental disabilities and addictions. The center is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a member of the Mental Health Corporations of America. It employs more than 1,500 personnel that include physicians, psychologists, nurses and clinical social workers. The center s mental health services include counseling, alcohol and drug abuse education and specialized case management. Its preventive division organizes parent workshops, peer leadership activities and community events. Seven Counties Services, with a location in Louisville, Ky., operates more than 40 facilities throughout the state.
