Provided by YP.comMy children are members of the skating club two years now and love the place! The management has made improvements to the facility, equipment, and themed activities. There are games as well as skating and a nice concessions area. We recently booked a birthday party with Champs for a reasonable price for a package of food/party room/skate time for 12+guests. Everyone was professional and helpful in making our event a success. They treat us like family and we are fans.

Provided by YP.comI've been skating here for about a year. But the workers are not up to standard. They got onto me and my boyfriend because he decided to hug me. They yelled "not to close." I have seen a lot worse than hugging there and my boyfriend and I are the only ones getting yelled at for even touching eachother. I am never going back to this place again. If they aren't going to treat me like how they treat other people then I don't want to be at a place like that.

Provided by YPmobileI have skated at other rinks like, Robins Roost and compared to Champs they all suck. Champs has black lights and disco balls and amazing jam skaters and break dancers. The staff is super nice, they r older teenagers so they joke around with us and are like our friends. Yes it is a little bit dangerous but roller skating is dangerous anyways, not as dangerous as ice skating though. Roller Skating is the only thing that makes me happy so being able to go here and hang out with my friends and just skate is amazing. If i didnt have champs and roller skating i just dont know what would have happened to me. Thanks so much Champs! One day i will work there! Lol

Provided by YP.comThe place is a Dump. The floors are always dirty. The skating floor always has gunk, old gum and other debrie on it. The bathrooms are always in need of repair(Which is seldom done), IF people are honest about it, often times the music is NOT age appropriate(Any of you Parents ever actually LISTEN to the lyrics in those ,,songs?).. Also, people of all ages constantly jump out onto the floor directly into other skaters already on the floor. This was not a big problem BEFORE they tore the barrier wall down! Me and my crowd will not go there anymore and sadly, I honestly can't recommend it to anyone...

Provided by YP.comThey REALLY need a wall or barrier of some kind BACK UP preventing kids, teens and people of all ages from darting onto the floor in front of other skaters This alone creates a very dangerous situation, Not to mention all the speeding teens. Also... Most of the time, the DJ's cater to rap music instead of a variety. The rink is ok but, Not the best value in town.

Provided by YP.comMy family was impressed. The music was age appropriate. The staff attentive to small childrenand the safety of all those in general. My 5 & 9 yr old had a great time on Monday Jan. 19th. Hannah Montannah give aways were a hit. The ratio of children to adults was also appropriate. The other rinks we have visited had a lot of children being dropped off who needed more supervision and as a result were skating too fast and being rude.
We plan to come back soon.

Provided by YP.comChamp's has been very generous to our school, St.Margaret Mary, donating several $99.00 birthday party packages, and cash donations for our cause of helping under privileged children. We would like to thank the staff at Champ's; Mr.Jerre Champa the Owner, Tarra Champa the Director, Jill the Assistant, and everyone else ( sorry we don't know your names), for everything you have done for our students and families! We can't wait for our next skating party!!

Provided by YP.comI am the organizer at an east-end private school in Louisville, and I want to thank Champ's for being so accommodating at our skating party last month. WHAS11 News had Big Brothers, Big Sisters do a segment at Champ's and it was very positive for our kids as well as the girl they did the segment on. And Mr. Champa donated for the cause, as well as donated several $99.00 birthday party packages for us to auction off at our Winter Festival this year. Champ's is an important place for the children in our community. Not only is it a fun-filled place to take the kids, but they truly care about helping under privileged kids. So once again, thank you!!

Provided by YP.comI absolutely love Champ's as well. We had our son Logan's party there over the weekend and will definately be back! It is a wonderful establishment for families and children. The floor is huge, they have a well-stocked snack area, great music, and professional employees! Our birthday party was made special by the DJ Tony, he dedicated a song for our son, and he had the whole group come up and sing "Happy Birthday" to him! My 81-yr old grandfather even skated, and they put on Frank Sinatra for him! I would tell anyone that wanted to know that Champ's is AWESOME!!

Provided by YP.comI LOVE going to Champ's. It is a nice, clean, safe place for kids. I have dropped my daughter (who is 9 years old) off many times, because I know that they have a rule for kids to stay in the building until a parent comes inside to get them. And the employees are helpful to her if she needs the phone or has a problem. I hope Champ's is around when my 2 year old is old enough to skate!

Provided by YP.comI recently visited Champ's on a school field trip with my kids and it was great! My kids had a wonderful time and can't wait to have their next party. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and they had the best DJ; a guy named Tony, who was not only kid friendly, but played songs that I had a blast skating to! I definately recommend taking your family to Champ's!
