Provided by YP.comIf you want Middle Ages dentistry you have come to the right place. They have parents sign a waiver to strap they child down on a board, or wrap them up tight. They do not want parents to come into the exam room. I insisted and was told I needed to wait a minute until they had the computers turned off. The exam room didn't even have a computer! He had a male assistant in with him. (...and they want to see kids without parents?!)
We went there because our insurance gave us his info. My son was in pain, crying. This dentist did an exam of the whole mouth, started yanking around on sons yaw because he has a cross bite. Then he said 'we'll take some X-rays and do a cleaning'. When I asked about my son's pain and what he was going to do about that he said 'we have to make another appointment for that'
I was outraged! My son was in serious pain, and all this doc could think about was a cleaning and X-rays?! We left! Will never return, ever.
I even called my insurance to complain about this guy. I took a pic of the waiver. Unbelievable!!

Provided by YPmobileDr. shuster has the worst personality ever seen in MD. He is uncaring, cold and arrogant. They take the kids from you and you can not come with them. They ask permission to tie down my girl only to count her teeth. Not to even do a medical care on her. Are we in the middle age?
Worst experience ever. I will let everybody know.

Provided by YP.comI chose this dentist blindly from an insurance list of pediatric dentists. The kids disliked it from the first visit. I figured it was typical childhood fear of the dentist. I did agree that the office was not your typical welcoming neighborhood type of place, but I continued to take them there. Finally, my daughter opened up about why she disliked the dentist. The dental assistants threatened the children that they would not get to go to the treasure box if they cried or talked. The parents were not allowed to remain with their children, they have to remain in the waiting area. I would leave with two sobbing kids and my daughter had nightmares about future dentist visits. Which she had several scheduled, for silver crowns (not the most cosmetically appealing) for cavities. I could not bear to take her back. I ultimately called another dentist in the neighborhood. Best decision ever. The kids only had one cavity that could be filled with a simple enamel colored filling and I could remain with them throughout the visit. The kids love their new dentist. My advice.... go anywhere else unless you plan on spending a ton of money on dental work that your children don't need. By the way, the one crown that Dr. Shuster did do before we left was faulty and now has to be redone.
