Provided by YP.comI grew up in Middletown. I attended Middletown Elementary and Eastern High School, graduating in 1968. My father, W. Talbot Thomas, was an original Commissioner when Middletown reincorporated. I recently sold my parents house on St. Clair Drive and bought Mattie Harris' house on Kratz Lane in Old Middletown next door to "Gamble" Wetherby's estate. Gamble and I have become good friends. We have shared old war stories of life in and out of Middletown. My father was very active in Historic Middletown. He made the first plaques that are standing in front of Middletown historic spots of interest. He recreated the original houses and businesses of Old Middletown for the Middletown Museum. To my knowledge, it stills stands as a testiment to the present value of our beautiful town. Both he and my mother volunteered their time to the museum for many years. The museum deserves your viewing to preserve our local history. He was Scoutmaster of Troop 321 for many years. They also were very active members of Middletown Methodist Church.
